Site Access Information for Official Visitors & Contractors
NOTICE: All visitors and contractors must enter the Plant Site via the East Gate, starting with Access Control in the Services Facility (Bldg 16-12). You will be turned away if you approach the West Gate. The following information about Pantex Plant access requirements applies to Official Visitors and Contractors ONLY. The Visitor or Contractor’s Pantex Point of Contact (POC) or Subcontract Technical Representative (STR) is responsible to ensure that all access requirements, including necessary training, have been completed before access to the Plant Site is granted. The Visitor Training Matrix will help you to identify the training requirements for general plant visits, meetings, etc. The Contractor Training Matrix identifies the training required for persons performing work or services at Pantex. POCs and STRs: Contact the Visitor/Contractor Training Officer at 477-3603, or if unavailable, 477-5529 or 477-7072 to verify that necessary training requirements have been met in order to expedite Visitor/Contractor entry. If activities during your visit to Pantex Plant call for a radiation dosimeter to be worn, you must provide your current year-to-date dose information (use Pantex Form PX-2868) before the dosimeter can be issued. The need for a dosimeter may be determined by contacting your Pantex Point of Contact (POC) or Subcontract Technical Representative (STR) in advance. Visitors should be aware that the Pantex Plant is an industrial site and that everyone is expected to comply with the B&W Pantex Footwear Policy. The policy applies to all areas of the plant; therefore, please review the Policy and arrive wearing compliant footwear. Visitor/Contractor Orientation (Course # 553.05), is required for all Pantex Plant visitors and contractors and must be renewed every two years. For your convenience, this information can be read prior to your visit. NOTE: Additional training may be required depending on job requirements and/or facility requirements. 1. Open and read the Orientation (Course #553.05) 2. Once you have read these materials, print, complete and sign the PX-3864 Training Completion form for ST 553.05, which is on the last page of the Orientation. Bring the completed document with you when you arrive at the Plant. Cyber Security Briefing is required if access to any Pantex computing resources is needed. (other than Guest Internet Access) 1. Open and read the Cyber Security Briefing 2. Print and complete all (3) Training Completion Report forms: Bring the completed PX-form(s) to Access Control (your check in point) on your first day at the plant, or they can be mailed to: Training Records Faxed Training Completion Reports are often illegible and are NOT acceptable.

Once you have studied the materials and are prepared to test-out, contact your Pantex POC who will coordinate the test-out through the Visitor/Contractor Training Officer.
